Badgers' Style Of Play Not Likely To Change
Wisconsin Looks To Start Season 2-0

MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Badgers men's basketball team has another home game Wednesday night against Oakland University, a team from the Summit League. The Oakland Golden Grizzlies are favored to win their conference this season. They fell to North Dakota State last year in the conference championship game and with that lost the chance to go to the NCAA tournament. This should be a good test for coach Bo Ryan and the Badgers. It's hard to know what has been learned after two exhibition blowouts and a season opening blowout against Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne on Sunday night.Look at those games and one could argue that the Badgers are a team that could run on offense and press full court on defense. But Ryan said that probably is not the case."You're probably thinking after watching the three teams that we played, but the other teams, as we keep going through our schedule, believe it or not, we might not be the most athletic team on the court in the majority of our games," Ryan said. "So you have to be real careful about talking about doing some things a little differently."Oakland's team includes former Middleton High School star Will Hudson. His parents said they are expecting about 100 friends and family to be in attendance for Wednesday's game.Tipoff for the Badger and Oakland game is set for 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
