Badgers Hope To Stay Hot On Road Trip

Team Takes On Hoosiers On Saturday

Updated: 8:51 pm CST November 5, 2009

The Wisconsin Badgers football team is going to do something this weekend it hasn't done in three weeks, play a game on the road. After two home games and a bye week, it's off to Bloomington, Ind., to play the Hoosiers.

"It's not easy going on the road," said Badgers center Peter Konz. "Camp Randall is where we do all our work, academically and athletically, so it really feels like home."

Many players said they enjoy going on the road because it brings the team together, but Memorial Stadium in Bloomington certainly isn't Camp Randall. Sellouts are a little rare for football in Bloomington and it's a different atmosphere on game day.

"It will be another challenge,” Badgers quarterback Scott Tolzien. "There will be some crowd noise, I'm sure, but it is kind of fun, in the away games, when it is just the guys on the sidelines. You feel like it's you against everyone else, it's kind of fun."

"When you have fans against you it is a little different, so mentally you have to get prepared for that," said Konz.
