Bielema Pleased With Team's Play Against Purdue

Badgers Travel To Indiana On Saturday

Updated: 9:16 am CST November 3, 2009

The University of Wisconsin Badgers delivered a Halloween nightmare to Purdue, beating the Boilermakers 37-0 at Camp Randall on Saturday.

Coach Bret Bielema said he was pleased by the game's outcome.

"I don't have a crystal ball at home," said Bielema "And I don't have any special powers to predict anything, but I knew what I saw and I knew what I believe could happen."

Meanwhile, the Badgers next opponent, Indiana, was up early looking for an upset against unbeaten Iowa, only to give the game away in the fourth quarter. With Halloween memories now in the past for both teams, Bielema believes the Badgers can continue to win.

"Hopefully, that'll continue forward and you also believe in the theory that once they taste it a certain number of times, they want to keep going back to it and hopefully, they'll be able to do that," said Bielema.

The Badgers will play Indiana University on Saturday in Bloomington, Ind. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.
