Badgers Bounce Into BCS Rankings

Wisconsin Earns Shutout Victory Over Purdue

The college football top 25 polls came out Sunday and the Wisconsin Badgers crushing of Purdue vaulted them into some national recognition.

The Badgers' are No. 21 in the Bowl Championship Series standings, No. 24 in the Associated Press Poll and No. 22 in the coaches' poll.

After consecutive losses to Ohio State and Iowa, there's renewed hope for the Badgers. The team has a legitimate shot to win 10 games before the bowl season after a 37-0 rout of Purdue on Saturday to improve to 6-2.

Wisconsin plays three of its final four on the road, but will likely be favored in all four games in the stretch at Indiana, home for Michigan, at Northwestern and at Hawaii. Win out, and Wisconsin could finish no worse than fourth in the Big Ten Conference after improving to 3-2.

Iowa is the top top Big Ten team, ranked No. 4 in the BCS standings.
