CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- It probably hurt for most Wisconsin football fans to watch Saturday's loss to Iowa, but it didn't hurt nearly as much as it did for an Iowa football fan named Carol Walden. She's 71 years old and a huge Hawkeyes fan.According to KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Walden was watching the game at her home and was rushing back to her chair for the start of the third quarter. She tripped on a rug in the kitchen and fell on her left side, breaking her hip. But, she didn't go to the hospital right away."Better call the doctor, and so I did and she said, well you better get into the hospital and I said OK," said Walden. "And so he said well let's go and I said no, I have to see the Hawkeyes win.""By that time, the Hawks," said her husband, Don Walden, "Were catching up so we had to watch the end of the game."And of course, the Hawkeyes won the Heartland Trophy and the game 20-10. Walden now has four screws in her broken hip and she's resting fairly comfortably.
