Carter finished with 17 points while Dwight Howard turned in an 18-point, 10- rebound performance for the Magic, who had all five starters score in double figures.

Jameer Nelson posted 12 points with four assists and Mickael Pietrus poured in 11.

John Salmons posted 19 points and Kirk Hinrich contributed 18 for the Bulls. Brad Miller had 15 points while Luol Deng added 10 points and seven boards.
