Milwaukee, WI -- (Sports Network) - Casey Kotchman went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and scored three times, as the Atlanta Braves made short work of the Milwaukee Brewers, 10-2, in the rubber match of a three-game set.Kelly Johnson had a two-run homer and Brian McCann added a solo shot for the Braves, who are 6-2 over their last eight games. Matt Diaz, Yunel Escobar and Martin Prado knocked in a run apiece in the win. "We keep winning series and that's the sign of a good team," said McCann. "I felt a lot better at the plate today and it showed with the homer." Derek Lowe (10-7) got the win as he went six frames and gave up two runs on nine hits. Corey Hart had a two-run homer to account for all the offense for the Brewers, who are 2-5 over their last seven games. Braden Looper (9-5) took the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits over six innings of work. The Bravos took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Nate McLouth led off with a walk, stole second, advanced 90 feet on a wild pitch and crossed home as McCann doubled to right field. The pitchers cruised from there, until Atlanta broke the game wide open with a four-run sixth inning. Diaz had an RBI single to score McCann, and Kotchman followed with a three-run homer to right to make it 5-0. Hart had a two-run homer in the home portion to cut Milwaukee's deficit to three runs, though. "Tight game through the sixth inning," said Brewers manager Ken Macha. "Looper got one up to Kotchman and that opened the game for them. I thought we swung the bats pretty well...You get behind in the game and the bullpen you hoped would hold them didn't get it done." McCann's solo shot in the seventh gave Atlanta a 6-2 advantage. Prado then offered a sacrifice fly to plate Kotchman in the eighth and Escobar drew a bases-loaded walk to make it 8-2. Johnson stroked a two-run homer off Chris Smith in the ninth to account for the final margin. Game Notes The Brewers haven't won a series in almost a month, as Milwaukee last won a set when it took two of three matchups against the Mets from June 29-July 1...Looper had won consecutive starts and was 4-0 in his last six outings coming in...Lowe is 3-0 in his last four starts...Milwaukee won two of three meetings in Atlanta from June 5-7 and is 9-6 in this series since the start of the 2008 campaign.
