Taylor Accused Of Making Threatening Calls

MADISON, Wis. -- A former Wisconsin football player accused of making threatening phone calls to a UW-Madison athletic department employee was arrested in Indiana Friday.Leonard Taylor, 32, was taken into custody by police in Indianapolis.Taylor was a defensive back for the Badgers from 1995 to 1998. He then briefly played on the Madison Mad Dogs professional indoor football team.UW-Madison police had posted signs at a campus athletic building that said Taylor is not allowed in or around any athletic facilities.Wisconsin court records showed Taylor pleaded guilty twice in 2005 to misdemeanor harassment and violating a restraining order for stalking a woman.The extradition process is expected to start next week.
