Dallas, TX -- (Sports Network) - Colt McCoy directed a pair of fourth-quarter drives that ended in short scoring runs by Cody Johnson, as fifth-ranked Texas captured the 103rd edition of the Red River Rivalry with a 45-35 victory over No. 1 Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl. Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford had the better numbers, throwing for 387 yards with five touchdowns, but McCoy wasn't too shabby either. He connected on 28-of-35 passes for 277 yards with one touchdown, and added 31 yards to Texas' ground attack that churned out 161 yards. Johnson finished with three short touchdown runs, while Chris Ogbonnaya did the heavy running with 127 yards on 15 carries for Texas (6-0, 2-0 Big 12), which has won three of the last four meetings and could be in line for the No. 1 ranking next week. Bradford completed 28-of-39 passes for Oklahoma (5-1, 1-1), which was unable to stop Texas at critical moments and saw the game turn on a trick play that came up just short.Final Score: (17) Oklahoma State 28, (3) Missouri 23 Columbia, MO (Sports Network) - Zac Robinson threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score as the No. 17 Oklahoma State Cowboys knocked off third-ranked Missouri, 28-23, in a pivotal cross-divisional clash with both Big 12 and national championship implications. Robinson was 19-of-28 passing for 215 yards with an interception, and Kendall Hunter ran for 154 yards, including a 68-yard TD, on 24 attempts for Oklahoma State (6-0, 2-0 Big 12), who are now one of three unbeatens left in a stacked conference. Damian Davis caught both of Robinson's TD passes, part of a three-catch, 76-yard performance and an unheralded Cowboys defense produced three turnovers against the vaunted Missouri offense. Heisman Trophy contender Chase Daniel was frustrated and struggled in moving the ball with Missouri's normal relative ease. Having only one interception coming into the game, Daniel was picked off three times on 39-of-52 passing for 390 yards. He threw for one score and ran for 46 yards on seven attempts. Derrick Washington and Jimmy Jackson both had rushing touchdowns. Chase Coffman had 11 receptions for 104 yards while Jeremy Maclin hauled in eight passes for 120 yards for the Tigers (5-1, 1-1), who missed a golden opportunity to keep pace in the polls and their own conference standings. Fifth-ranked Texas knocked off No. 1 Oklahoma earlier Saturday in another Big 12 battle with lasting implications. With one loss, Oklahoma and Missouri now sit behind unbeatens Texas, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech in the conference, while No. 4 LSU also fell to No. 11 Florida to further shake up the national polls. Missouri, however, will get a chance to climb the ladder again next week with a showdown in Austin against Texas. Final Score: (11) Florida 51, (4) LSU 21 Gainesville, FL (Sports Network) - Reigning Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow threw for 210 yards with two touchdown tosses to Percy Harvin, as the 11th- ranked Florida Gators annihilated the No. 4 LSU Tigers, 51-21, in a highly anticipated SEC battle. The romp in the Swamp featured the past two National Champions, the first such meeting in college football since Notre Dame (1988 champs) defeated Miami-Florida (1989 champs) in 1990. The Gators rattled off 21 straight second-half points to pull away for the victory. Tebow added a rushing touchdown for Florida (5-1, 3-1 SEC), which has won two straight since its lone loss to Ole Miss. Freshman Jeffrey Demps rushed for 129 yards and a score on just 10 carries for the Gators, who had lost three of the previous four in this rivalry. Brandon Spikes led the Florida defense with five tackles and two interceptions, returning one 52 yards for a touchdown in the victory. Jarrett Lee was rattled under center, hitting 23-of-38 passes for 209 yards with two touchdowns and a pair of interceptions for LSU (4-1, 2-1), which had a six-game winning streak, dating back to last season, snapped. Charles Scott was held under 100 yards rushing for the first time in five games, netting just 35 yards on 12 carries. Richard Dickson hauled in six balls for 36 yards and a touchdown for the Tigers, who were outgained 475-321. But Penn State had only won once at Wisconsin since 1996 -- in 2002 -- and had scored just six combined points in the last two trips to Camp Randall. Evan Royster ran for 60 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, and Deon Butler caught three passes for 70 yards and a TD for the Nittany Lions, whose performance could merit a rise up the Top-25 rankings. No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 3 Missouri and No. 4 LSU all lost on Saturday. Wisconsin starting quarterback Allan Evridge completed just two of his 10 pass attempts for 50 yards and was intercepted once, and was pulled for Dustin Sherer. He was 9-of-17 for 115 yards and one pick for the Badgers (3-3, 0-3), who have lost three consecutive games. Evridge ran for the lone touchdown for the Badgers, who had lost their previous two games by a combined five points. Final Score: (7) Texas Tech 37, Nebraska 31 (OT) Lubbock, TX (Sports Network) - Eric Morris' one-yard touchdown run in overtime gave Texas Tech the lead, and Jamar Wall's interception sealed the 37-31 win for the seventh-ranked Red Raiders over Nebraska. Sanchez added a touchdown run in the win. Ronald Johnson led the receiving corps with 71 yards on three catches, while Damian Williams added a TD reception and Stafon Johnson rushed for a score.
