Fans Cheer Pack During Brewers Playoff Game

Philadelphia Ends Brewers' Season

Wisconsin baseball fans had a tough choice on Sunday -- pay attention to the Brewers playoff game or Packer game.

"Both games are at the same time and we can only be at one, so we're here," said several fans in Milwaukee.

"A little football day when there's a Packers game, Brewers game so we're going to watch the Brewers and still pay attention to Packers and hope we get two winners today," said another fan.

The decision became especially difficult for fan wardrobes.

"I've got the Green Bay Packers because you got to support Green Bay, but I've got the Milwaukee Brewers T-shirt under it," said one fan. "I've got to support both our Wisconsin teams."

Some fans made the ultimate choice between the Brewers and Packers.

"We had six tickets for the Packer game today and we sold them because we wanted to go to the playoff game because it might be another 26 years before we get here -- hopefully not," said one man.

A Brewer win was not meant to be -- the team's wild ride for the wild-card ended with a whimper.

The Brewers got away from their previously patient approach at the plate and an offense that sputtered throughout September ground to a halt Sunday in a 6-2 loss to Philadelphia.

It ended their playoff series in four games.
