Norman, OK (Sports Network) - Sam Bradford threw for a career-high 411 yards and four touchdowns, leading second-ranked Oklahoma to a 35-10 rout of No. 24 TCU. Bradford completed 19-of-34 passes, three of which went to Manuel Johnson for touchdowns of 76, 55 and 63 yards. Johnson finished with five catches for an Oklahoma record 206 yards. The Sooners (4-0), whose last loss at Owen Field came against TCU in the 2005 season-opener, are in line to take over the No. 1 ranking in the country following Southern California's stunning loss to Oregon State on Thursday. TCU (4-1) and its stout defense had yielded a total of 31 points in four games entering the contest, but the Sooners piled up 28 in the first half. Oklahoma also racked up 222 yards in the first quarter, more than any TCU opponent had produced in an entire game. Joseph Turner scored the only touchdown for the Horned Frogs, while Andy Dalton completed 16-of-39 passes for 212 yards with an interception in defeat.

Athens, GA (Sports Network) - John Parker Wilson threw for 205 yards and one touchdown, as eighth-ranked Alabama built a huge first-half lead and held on for a 41-30 victory over No. 3 Georgia at Sanford Stadium. Glen Coffee ran for 86 yards and two scores, while Roy Upchurch and Mark Ingram added rushing touchdowns for the Crimson Tide (5-0, 2-0 SEC), who have scored at least 40 points in each of their last three games. Matthew Stafford threw for 274 yards and a pair of touchdowns for Georgia (4-1, 1-1), which saw an 11-game winning streak come to an end. The Bulldogs also became the third team in the top-four to lose this weekend, joining top-ranked Southern California and No. 4 Florida. Alabama completely dominated the first half, scoring on each of its five possessions for a 31-0 lead. The momentum turned in the second half, however, as the Tide went three-and-out on each of its three possessions of the third quarter. Georgia crept back into it on a 43-yard Blair Walsh field goal and a two-yard touchdown run by Knowshon Moreno. A 92-yard punt return for a score by Prince Miller made it a 14-point game early in the fourth quarter, but the Tide answered with a Leigh Tiffin field goal and a 12-yard scoring run by Coffee to re-assert control.

Gainesville, FL (Sports Network) - Shay Hodge's 86-yard touchdown reception and Kentrell Lockett's blocked extra point late in the contest were the difference as Ole Miss upended fourth-ranked Florida, 31-30, in an SEC tussle. Jevan Snead completed only 9-of-20 passes for 185 yards, two scores and a pick, but ran for a touchdown for the Rebels (3-2, 1-1 SEC). Tim Tebow threw for 319 yards and one touchdown on 24-of-38 passing for the Gators (3-1, 1-1). Tebow added a pair of scores on the ground. Percy Harvin led all receivers with 13 catches for 186 yards and a TD, also picking up 82 yards and a score on 10 carries.

Baton Rouge, LA (Sports Network) - Charles Scott rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, as the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers came away with a 34-24 victory over the resilient Mississippi State Bulldogs in SEC play. Jarrett Lee hit 18-of-27 passes for 261 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for LSU (4-0, 2-0 SEC), which did not fall victim to looking ahead to its pivotal SEC matchup against Florida in Gainesville in two weeks. Brandon LaFell hauled in a game-high seven receptions for 100 yards for the Tigers, who topped Auburn last week to stake their claim as the team to beat once again in the SEC West. Tyson Lee was better than his 175 passing yards suggested, connecting on 17-of-26 throws with a touchdown toss against a stout LSU defense. Anthony Dixon and Christian Ducre each scored rushing touchdowns for Mississippi State (1-4, 0-2), which had registered just nine combined points in back-to-back losses to Georgia Tech and Auburn.

Jordan Shipley had eight catches for 83 yards and two scores in the win. Casey Dick went 7-for-13 with 138 yards while London Crawford had three catches for 51 yards for the Razorbacks (2-2), who have dropped their past two games while being outscored 101-24 in those games after opening the season with consecutive wins.

Ann Arbor, MI (Sports Network) - David Gilreath's touchdown grab with 13 seconds left made it a two-point game, but Wisconsin committed a penalty on its first two-point try and failed in its next attempt, as the Michigan Wolverines overcame a 19-point halftime deficit to upend the ninth-ranked Badgers 27-25 in a classic Big Ten tussle. Brandon Graham had two forced fumbles and three sacks to highlight a terrific defensive effort for the Wolverines (2-2, 1-0 Big Ten), who were coming off a much-needed bye after losing to Notre Dame, 35-17. John Thompson added a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown for the victors. Allan Evridge completed 20-of-37 passes for 226 yards and a score but threw two interceptions and fumbled inside Michigan's 10-yard line late in the fourth quarter for Wisconsin (3-1, 0-1).

University Park, PA (Sports Network) - Daryll Clark threw for 181 yards and two scores on 14-for-20 passing and ran for 50 yards and another touchdown, as 12th-ranked Penn State handled No. 22 Illinois, 38-24, in the teams' Big Ten opener. Derrick Williams accounted for three touchdowns -- one rushing, one receiving and one on a kickoff return -- for the Nittany Lions (5-0, 1-0 Big Ten), who allowed a season-high in points but held on for the win. Williams caught six passes for 75 yards and ran for 33, while Evan Royster had 139 yards rushing on 19 attempts for Penn State. Juice Williams passed for 183 yards and two touchdowns on 13-of-24 completions for the Illini (2-2, 0-1), and was intercepted once. Illinois fell to 0-2 against ranked opponents this season, as the school lost to then sixth-ranked Missouri, 52-42, in its season opener. Arrelious Benn caught four passes for a career-high 110 yards and two touchdowns for the Illini, while Daniel Dufrene ran for 96 yards on 14 attempts. Juice Williams added 64 yards on the ground.

Raleigh, NC (Sports Network) - Matt Grothe threw for 259 yards and a touchdown on 20-of-29 passing, and three different backs rushed for a score as No. 13 South Florida posted an impressive 41-10 win over the NC State Wolfpack at Carter-Finley Stadium. Grothe also ran for 68 yards on nine attempts while Mike Ford, Moise Plancher and Jamar Taylor scored on the ground for the Bulls (5-0), who finished up non-conference play with their 11th straight regular season non-conference victory and sixth straight on the road. South Florida's vaunted defensive unit swarmed the ball and came up with three interceptions while holding the Wolfpack to 265 total yards of offense and a stingy 26 yards rushing. Harrison Beck had a hard time getting anything going under center for the Wolfpack (2-3), completing just nine passes on 32 attempts for 239 yards and the three picks. Beck was the team's third starting quarterback in five games after redshirt freshman Russell Wilson was injured in last week's game and unavailable to play. Andre Brown, coming off his best effort of the season, was held to 39 yards on nine carries but caught two balls for 85 yards. Owen Spencer had three grabs for 94 yards for NC State.

Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Terrelle Pryor threw for one touchdown and ran for two others, as 14th-ranked Ohio State toppled Minnesota, 34-21, in the Big Ten opener for both teams at Ohio Stadium. Pryor finished with 97 yards rushing on eight carries, while completing 8-of-13 passes for 70 yards for the Buckeyes (4-1, 1-0 Big Ten). Chris Wells gained 106 yards on 14 carries and Brian Robiskie hauled in eight passes for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Adam Weber passed for 187 yards, one TD and one interception on 23-of-36 completions for the Gophers (4-1, 0-1). DeLeon Eskridge ran for 76 yards on 18 carries and had eight receptions for 55 yards. Auburn, AL (Sports Network) - Chris Todd threw the game's only touchdown pass and Auburn took advantage of crucial mistakes by Tennessee, as the 15th-ranked Tigers held on for a 14-12 win in an SEC battle at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Todd was 14-of-23 for 93 yards and a first quarter touchdown to Robert Dunn, who nabbed six balls total for 54 yards. Ben Tate rushed for 70 yards on 19 attempts while Kodi Burns came on to complete 4-of-6 passes for 36 yards. The Tigers' (4-1, 2-1 SEC) defense came up huge, holding the Volunteers (1-3, 0-2) to 191 yards of total offense, while defensive tackle Jake Ricks recovered a fumble in the end zone for Auburn's final score. Winston-Salem, NC (Sports Network) - Eric Kettani ran for a career-high 175 yards and backup quarterback Jarod Bryant scored the decisive touchdown in the fourth quarter, as Navy pounded out a 24-17 upset of No. 16 Wake Forest at BB&T Field. The Midshipmen (3-2) finished with 292 rushing yards and attempted only four passes, three of which were completed, on the way to their second straight victory. Navy beat a ranked team for the first time since a 17-13 triumph over Virginia in 1985. Navy starting quarterback Kaipo- Noa Kaheaku-Enhada scored a pair of touchdowns before leaving the contest with a hamstring injury. He ran for 30 yards and his two completions in three attempts helped set up Navy's first two scores. Riley Skinner threw for 270 yards with a touchdown for Wake Forest (3-1), but the last of his four interceptions set up the decisive score for Navy. The Demon Deacons, who committed six turnovers in all, were coming off a 12-3 win at Florida State last week and may have been looking ahead to their ACC matchup with Clemson in two weeks.

Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Brian Johnson threw two touchdowns, and Matt Asiata ran for two more as 17th-ranked Utah defeated Weber State, 37-21, at Rice-Eccles Stadium. Johnson completed 18-of-22 throws for 194 yards, with an interception, and Asiata finished with 37 yards on 10 carries. Darrell Mack added 58 yards on the ground on 12 carries, and Bradon Godfrey and Colt Sampson each found the end zone once for Utah (5-0). Cameron Higgins went 24-for-38 with 303 yards and three touchdowns for Weber State (3-2). Tim Toone caught six passes for 118 yards and a score, while Bryant Eteuati had eight receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. Utah was able to hold the Wildcats to only 56 yards on the ground, outgaining Weber State in total by a 450-359 margin.

Darrius Heyward-Bey had a big 76-yard run on a reverse for the Terrapins, who outscored the Tigers 14-0 in the second half to escape Death Valley with a win. James Davis rushed for 126 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown, and C.J. Spiller added 98 yards on 14 carries and a score for Clemson (3-2, 0-1 ACC). Cullen Harper completed 15-of-22 passes for 151 yards with no scores and an interception for the Tigers, who were held scoreless after Davis' touchdown run with 7:17 left in the second quarter.

Bryce Beall added 132 yards on 22 carries and two scores for the Cougars (2-3, 1-0 C-USA), who snapped a three-game slide. Patrick Edwards caught 11 balls for 146 yards and a touchdown, while Kierrie Johnson had four grabs for 104 yards and a TD. Mark Hafner also found the end zone for Houston. Ben Bell was 2-of-4 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra point attempts in the win. Pat Pinkney garnered 100 yards on 10-of-20 passing with one touchdown and one pick for the Pirates (3-2, 1-1), who have now dropped two straight contests and will likely drop from the Top 25. Pasadena, CA (Sports Network) - Tom Brandstater completed 21-of-30 passes for 236 yards with three touchdowns and one interception, as the 25th-ranked Fresno State Bulldogs outlasted the UCLA Bruins, 36-31, to earn their first- ever win at the Rose Bowl. Ryan Mathews ran for 166 yards on 21 carries and one score and caught another for the Bulldogs (3-1), and Chastin West caught five passes for 69 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown late in the third quarter that proved to be the difference. Kevin Craft connected 11- of-20 passes for 150 yards and one touchdown for the Bruins (1-3), who have dropped three straight following a stunning 27-24 overtime victory against then-ranked Tennessee. Kahlil Bell gained 73 yards on the ground and scored two touchdowns.
