South Milwaukee Songwriter Pens 'Brett Favre Boogie'

Posted: 4:40 pm CST January 9, 2008

The last time the Green Bay Packers had a super season, local songwriter Eddy J. Lemberger wrote a fan favorite. In '96 it was the "Packers Polka." Now it's the Brett Favre Boogie.

"It was almost like a Twilight Zone moment because I wasn't thinking about the Packers, and I wasn't thinking about Brett. It just came to me from wherever songs come from," said Lemberger.

The Brett Favre Boogie channels the moves of No. 4:

"Take a snap, drop back, shake your tail, love your Pack. Do the Brett Favre boogie. Wave your hands in the air, throw a TD with flair. Do the Brett Favre boogie. Move from side to side, flash a grin real wide. Do the Brett Favre boogie."

Lemberger hopes this song, like the Packers Polka, will lead the Pack to another Super Bowl.

Lemberger's CD is available for purchase on iTunes.
