MLB Game Summary - Chicago Cubs At Kansas City

(Sports Network) - Ryan Shealy and Alex Gonzalez each knocked in a pair of runs to lead the Kansas City Royals past the Chicago Cubs, 6-5, in spring training action.

Shealy finished with three hits while David DeJesus hit a home run for the Royals, who belted out 12 hits. Jason Cromer was credited with the win for Kansas City after recording just one out.

Catcher Jake Fox went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI for the Cubs, who scored two runs in the ninth as their comeback bid fell short. Mark Prior pitched in relief for Chicago and was tagged for four runs on four hits in two innings of work to take the loss.
