Cult nudist actress Doris Wishman has died.
According to the actress' official Web site, Wishman died Aug. 10 at a Miami hospital with complications related to lymphoma. She was memorialized in a gathering in Miami Beach Sunday.
Wishman's obituary on her official site stated that she "was extremely secretive about her age but who is believed to have been in her mid-80s." Relatives said Wishman was 90.
Wishman made her nudist filmmaker debut in 1960 with "Hideout in the Sun." She went on to direct eight more nudist features.
She also made dozens of small-budget movies including "Nude on the Moon"
and "Another Day, Another Man."
Her sexually charged movies took advantage of 1960s court rulings that stripped censorship of nudist camps.
