Recall Petitions Delivered To Walker

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin elections officials say they have delivered electronic copies to Gov. Scott Walker's campaign seeking his recall from office.The Government Accountability Board said Friday it had scanned 152,300 petition pages, roughly half of which had been turned over earlier in the week. The board has not yet estimated how many signatures are on the pages, but recall organizers say there is about a million.The board had previously turned over copies of recall petitions targeting four state senators and it hopes to complete work on those against Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch next week.A link to Walker's petitions will be posted on the GAB website on Monday.The 30-day window for Walker to file challenges to the signatures starts Saturday.
