Doyle Says He Talked Health Care With Obama
Doyle Spoke With President At White House

MADISON, Wis. -- Gov. Jim Doyle said he talked with President Barack Obama about the economy and how federal health care reform will affect Wisconsin during a private meeting in the White House on Thursday.Doyle said Wisconsin's governor's race came up, but said the discussion was no different than how people have generally been talking about the race.Doyle also said they did not talk about his future after he leaves the governor's office. Doyle is not seeking a third term next year and has repeatedly said he intends to serve the remainder of his time in office.He said that has been made clear to Obama and his administration has not offered him any positions or talked about it.
