2 Polls Find Obama Leading In Wisconsin
Polls: Respondents Rate Obama As Better On Economy

MILWAUKEE -- Two new polls said Democrat Barack Obama has a comfortable lead over Republican John McCain in Wisconsin.In a Mason-Dixon/NBC survey of 625 likely voters taken Thursday and Friday, Obama leads McCain 51 percent to 39 percent.In a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee survey taken Oct. 8 through Oct. 15, Obama leads McCain, 51 percent to 36 percent.The margin of error for the Mason-Dixon poll is plus or minus 4 percentage points. The margin of error for the UW-Milwaukee poll of 434 people is plus or minus 5 points.Both polls found the respondents rated Obama as the better candidate on the economy by wide margins.
