Madison Civics Club Announces 2008-2009 Speakers
The Madison Civics Club has announced its new season of speakers.

MADISON, Wis. -- The Madison Civics Club has announced its new season of speakers.Since 1912, the Madison Civics Club has been dedicated to raising the civic consciousness of its members and its community by informing them about issues that matter in their lives and the lives of their children. Over the years, speakers such as Ralph Nader, Amelia Earhart, Margaret Bourke-White, Nelson Rockefeller, and Winston Churchill have presented stimulating discourses that have both educated and inspired members.Each season, the Civics Club organizes a lineup of prominent speakers who give lectures on various topics of interest at club luncheons. For membership information, visit the club's Web site. The theme for the 2008-2009 season is "Generation Next: We Can Learn from Them."
