McCain Made Stops In Hudson And Eau Claire

HUDSON, Wis. -- Republican presidential candidate John McCain told a mostly female audience in Hudson on Friday that his plans to cut income, business and estate taxes would help women, while Democrat Barack Obama's proposals would only present new economic obstacles for them.
VIDEO: Watch The ReportA day after Obama devoted a day of campaigning to women's issues, McCain did the same.McCain made stops in Hudson and Eau Claire, telling a mostly female audience that his plans on taxes would help them because so many of the women he spoke to own or work for small businesses, WISC-TV reported."We have not done enough and I'm committed to making sure that there is equal pay for equal work that there is equal opportunity in every aspect of our society and our economy and that is my record and you can count on it," said McCain.McCain claims his rival's plans would set up new economic obstacles for them.Republicans believe McCain has a chance to pick up Democratic and independent women who are angry or disappointed that Hillary Rodham Clinton lost her bid to become the first female president.
