Jim Doyle has indicated he will veto all or part of two of the deal's main parts. One is a delay in $125 million in school payments and the other is $209 million in refinancing of tobacco bond payments.The state's budget woes could get worse if the state doesn't collect $92 million in casino payments the Ho-Chunk tribe is fighting in court.The state also is in court over $293 million in sales tax payments and a $200 million medical malpractice fund transfer. Losing any of those could blow a huge hole in the budget.
