WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The government is reporting safety malfunctions on 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivans.

The five complaints are that the front air bags have failed to deploy in certain models.

Honda is also recalling 25,000 new Civics.

The accelerator pedal is improperly installed on some.

It could come loose and cause the throttle to stick.

No crashes have been reported despite the problem.
