Vivian L. Armstrong, age 73, died on Monday, December 30, 2013, at her home.
She was born on May 31, 1940, in the town of Columbus to Louis and Clara (Schroeder) Lee. Vivian was a 1958 graduate of the Columbus High School. She then was employed for the State of Wisconsin Motor Vehicle Division.
Vivian was married to Delbert “Wayne” Armstrong on October 27, 1962, at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. She enjoyed bowling and was a former league bowler. Vivian loved flowers and tended to her impressive flower garden. She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Columbus.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne of Columbus; her twins, Michele Stute of East Troy and Michael Armstrong of Grand Rapids MI; her daughter, Lori Armstrong of Wausau; one granddaughter, Rachael Stute; a sister, Clarice (John) Haefner of Columbus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Janet Gilmore; five brothers, Donald, Marvin, Rolland, Kenneth and Louis.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M., on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at ZION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Robert Wilke will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
