Waynesburg, PA - Thomas Lee Garber, age 51 passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 20, 2016.
He was born on December 6, 1964 in San Diego, CA, the son of James H. and Janice (Calvert) Garber.
He resided in Waynesburg, PA most of his life. He was an avid Steeler and Nascar fan. He was a member of local Labor Union 77 for more than 30 years. He was an active member of the Moose Club for more than 30 years. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He also loved to play horseshoes and was in a league where he was champion two years in a row. He loved his dog JD, as his child and enjoyed spending time with him and his close family and friends. Thomas was known to help anyone as much as possible and tried to have a smile on his face as much as he could.
Thomas is survived by his daughter; McKenzie Garber Dougal and his son Jonathan Garber, two grandchildren; Skyler and Eva, two sisters; Pamela Thompson and Denise Herrington and two brothers; James L. Garber all of Waynesburg, PA and Phillip Garber of Maryland. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, with other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; Carlton (Thomas) Calvert, Marjorie Calvert and Ruth Garber and nephew Tyler Garber.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at EAST FRANKLIN GRANGE HALL #1709, 2262 Smith Creek Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370 on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
