Theodore E. Linneman, age 71, of Janesville, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at his home after a battle with leukemia. He was born in Janesville on Jan. 30, 1943, the son of Robert and Geraldine (Smith) Linneman.

He graduated from Janesville High School, and married Ruth Ann Farlow on Jan. 11, 1964, in First Lutheran Church. Ruth Ann preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2012. Ted owned the Eastside Citgo Service Station (formerly Shell/76) for 42 years, and the Oasis Shell for 10 years, 1979 to 1989. He enjoyed hunting up north with his special hunting partner Mike, working in his yard, which was always perfectly manicured, drag racing, and car rides on old country roads with no real destination with his love.

Ted is survived by his 2 daughters, Keri (Timothy) Titus and Jodi (Michael) Monat both of Janesville; 4 grandchildren: Steven Linneman, Matthew Titus, Megan (Alex Scott) Monat and Adam (Ashlie Severson) Monat; 3 great grandchildren: Owen and Liam Linneman, and Sawyer Scott; 4 siblings: Barb (Tom) Mc Grath, twin brother, Tom (Rickie) Linneman, Pat (Russ) Wegner and Mike (Donna) Linneman; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Private family service will be held at a later date. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family. Lasting Memorials may be made in Ted's name to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.
