Belleville/Basco, WI /Shirley Ann Northwick-Kelliher, age 78 passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at St. Mary’s Care Center in Madison with her sister by her side.

She was born on December 14, 1935 at Madison, WI to her parents Arthur and Dorothea (Wild) Northwick. Shirley attended Belleville Schools. She owned and operated Dot’s Tavern in Basco for many years. Shirley had also worked at Ahrens Cadillac/Oldsmobile in Madison and Kelsch Machine in Paoli.

Shirley is survived by her children Ralph and Brad Stammen, grandchildren Matthew and Angela Stammen, Chad and Chelsea Volden-Stammen, and a great-granddaughter Elizabeth Stammen. She is further survived by her sister and best friend Audrey Rear, brother Kermeth Northwick, sister-in-law Ethel Northwick, a very special niece Kari Ace, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Kenneth Northwick, brother-in-law Jerry Rear, and a sister-in-law Alice Northwick.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI with Pastor Nicole Espe officiating. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Belleville Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until time of services on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home in Belleville.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Care Center for their kind and compassionate care of Shirley.
