Scott John Bugs, 66, of Fort Atkinson, died at home from cancer on Monday, October 10, 2016.
Scott was born in Milwaukee on September 9, 1950 to Kenneth Eric Bugs and Mary L. (Hiedersheid) Bugs. He married his high school sweetheart, Candice Jelinek on September 12, 1970.
He was employed at Minshall Softwater and Funeral Home. He also worked for Kutz Ambulance and Kutz Livery as an EMT and hearse driver. Scott co-owned The Bughouse tavern with Candi for 23 years. Later he worked at Alden Estates of Jefferson as Utility and Maintenance until his death.
He was a member of the Blackhawk Auto Club, Jefferson Mason Zor Shrine and Mini Car Club.
He will be sadly missed for his sense of humor and jokes. He was a great Packer, Badger and NASCAR fan.
Scott is survived by his wife, Candi of 46 years; sons, Elliott and Andy (Amber) Bugs; grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Makenzie and Ryan Bugs and Katelyn and Hailey Logan; great granddaughter, Zoey Minnie Bugs; sisters, Kristie Bugs and Kathy (Joe) Scott; brothers, Tony (Barb) Johann and Mike (Sue) Johann and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth and his mother and step-father, Mary and Gordie Johann.
A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Dugout on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from Noon until 4 p.m. Casual Bughouse, Packer and Badger attire would be appreciated.
