Royce L. Lindauer, a WWII Veteran, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 8, 2013. Royce was born Nov. 18, 1927, the son of Homer and Lulu Lindauer.
Royce worked at the State Animal Health Lab for 30 years as a microbiologist.
Royce was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Lulu Lindauer; and brothers, Bill Lindauer and Alan “Shorty” Lindauer.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; two daughters, Deborah (Roger) Stamm and Tammy (Justin) Johnson; and one son, Bruce Lindauer. Royce has three surviving brothers, Gene (Melva) Lindauer, Larry (Bonnie) Lindauer, and Gary (Donna) Lindauer. He has five grandchildren, Adam Lindauer, Heather Lindauer, Brooke Johnson, Bryce Johnson, and Nathan (Cindy) Stamm, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, with interment immediately following at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday.
