Ross Laridaen, age 66 of Madison, Wisconsin, formerly of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died Saturday, September 10, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital Medical Center in Madison.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station with Father Antony Arokiyam officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Lyndon Station. Visitation will be held at Conway Picha Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at 1:30 p.m.

Ross was born August 20, 1950 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin the son of Philip and Mary (Havey) Laridaen. He grew up in Lyndon Station, attended the Catholic grade school in Lyndon Station and then Mauston High School, graduating in 1968. He worked for 30 years at Oscar Mayer in Madison and retired from there, then worked for the State of Wisconsin at the Central Wisconsin Center in Madison. Ross enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cards especially sheepshead and euchre, supporting the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, and enjoyed an occasional Miller Lite.

Ross is survived by a son, Josh (Lucy) of Madison; grandchildren, Tiffany and Richard; mother, Mary of Lyndon Station; a brother, Patrick (Kim) of Colorado; sisters, Georgene (Calvin) Rasmussen and Kathleen (Dick) Schluter both of Lyndon Station; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father.
