Rosella A. Breunig, age 90, of Sauk City, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2016.

She was born on March 25, 1926 in Roxbury, WI the daughter of Bert and Sarah (Breunig) Reuter. She was united in marriage to Vernon Breunig on September 24, 1947; he preceded her in death on March 22, 2015. Rosella worked for the Sauk-Prairie School District in food service for 20 years.

She is survived by her children, Cal (Chris) Breunig of Appleton, Lynn (Dave Tremble) Breunig of Prairie du Sac, and Kurt Breunig of Sauk City; one grandchild, Lissa (Paul Asper) Koop of Madison; 2 great granddaughters, Linden and Rowan Asper; 4 step grandchildren, Jason (Gebriel) Lefeber, Angela (Mark) Schorer, Sarah Shumaker and Kate Tremble; and eight step great grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the staff of the Sauk County Health Care Facility in Reedsburg and Dr. Cheryl Gehin, SSM Health Dean in Baraboo for the amazing care and attention they provided to our beloved mother.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at St. Norbert Catholic Church, Roxbury. A private internment will be held at a later time.
