Robert E. Williams, age 92, of Edgerton, died on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at home.

He was born in Janesville on Oct. 15, 1920, the son of Frank H. and Emma J. (Anderson) Williams. He served in the U.S. Air Force, and married Cecilia E. Langer in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Janesville, on Jan. 18, 1947. Robert was a dairy farmer outside of Stoughton for 25 years, and moved to Edgerton in 1980. He was employed by Larsen Company, Fort Atkinson from 1980 to 1990. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Edgerton, and the International Order of Foresters.

He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Williams; 6 children: Susan (Richard) Kapke of Janesville, Kenneth Williams of Wautoma, Barbara (Bill) Hookham of Milton, Roger Williams of Pelican Lake, Steven (Donna) Williams of Oregon and Brett Lunde of Stoughton; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Linda Louise; 4 brothers: Walt, Delos, Jim and Frank Williams; and a sister, Mae.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 590 St. Joseph Circle, Edgerton with Rev. Kevin Dooley officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a 6:00 rosary at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY and again on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
