Lenz, Robert G. “Bob” MADISON/FT. ATKINSON/RHINELANDER-Robert G. “Bob” Lenz, age 91, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Oakwood East.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1925, in Cold Springs, Wis., the son of Frederick and Doris Lenz. He married Veronica “Vera” Brazeau in December of 1951, who preceded him in death in June of 1986. He married Jane Lawton in 1990, who preceded him in death in September of 2011.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He loved the north woods and spending time with his family and extended family. Bob was a very kind and giving spirit, and had a great sense of humor.

Bob is survived by his son, Mark Lenz; step-daughter, Bonita (Sandra Hendricks) Lawton; step-son, Michael (Pam) Lawton; daughter-in-law, Jill; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Anthon, Quincy and Christopher Lawton-Hendricks, Brooke and Tyler Mikkelson and Lindsey (Sota) Proeung; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two spouses; and son, Mike Lenz.

A Memorial Service will be held at OAKWOOD EAST CHAPEL, 5565 Tancho Dr., Madison, at 4:30 p.m., on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2016. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Ft. Atkinson. Visitation will be held in the chapel from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
