Philip Laeseke, age 61 of rural Lyndon Station, Wisconsin died peacefully Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his residence with his family by his side.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Father Valentine Joseph celebrating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. and on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. and then process to the church.

Philip was born July 14, 1952 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin the son of Louis and Emma (Ewing) Laeseke. He was a member of the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Philip liked hunting, fishing and camping in his younger days and lately enjoyed traveling and visiting with his family, especially his grandchildren. Attending local county fairs and viewing the animals was enjoyable and a favorite thing to do was attend the coffee clutch and talk with others at Martha’s Restaurant in Lyndon Station.

Philip is survived by a special friend, Karen Wiltgen of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin; a son, Paul (Chelsey) of California; a daughter, Melissa (Brent) Kallembach of Spencer, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Joshua, Cassidy and Amelia Kallembach; a brother, Elgie of Lyndon Station; sisters, Mary (Richard) Henderson of Baraboo, Wisconsin, Nancy (Don) Dickerson of Arizona, Linda Gneiser of Loganville, Wisconsin and Barb (Randy) Wells of Reedsburg; and a sister in law, June Laeseke of Richland Center, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.
