MADISON/MCFARLAND – Paul C. MacDonald Jr., age 39, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 22, 2013. He was born on August 16, 1974, in Madison, the son of Paul and Mary (Tennyson) MacDonald.

Paul was a graduate of Madison West High School. He was united in marriage to Tina Rasmussen on October 21, 2000.

Paul enjoyed the outdoors and worked as a landscaper, a career that he loved. He was an avid hunter of small game, deer, and turkey, as well as a fisherman. Words can’t really express the love he had for being outdoors while hunting; a passion he also shared with his children.

Paul enjoyed cooking, playing softball, camping with his family, and supporting his family’s sporting activities. As a Father, he was extremely proud of Nicole and Timmy. He supported Nicole’s chorus concerts and Timmy’s hunting enthusiasm and playing the drums. Paul was a member of the Deerfield Gun Club.

Paul is survived by his wife, Tina; children, Nicole “B” and Timothy “Timmy”; mother, Mary MacDonald; parents-in-law, Kenneth and Mary Rasmussen; sister-in-law, Tonya (John Howe) Rasmussen; special friend and “brother”, Brad Reichert; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul MacDonald Sr.; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Elizabeth Plachetka; paternal grandparents, Rex and Gwen Frye; and cousin, Joey Tennyson.

A memorial service will be held at THE GOOD SHEPHERD CATHOLIC PARISH at the ST. JAMES CHURCH, 1128 St. James Court, Madison at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013.
