LODI-Patricia M. "Pat" Flanigan Witzke McClusky, 80, was born on June 29, 1936 in St. Joseph, Michigan and died at Our House Senior Living in Lodi, Wisconsin on Saturday night, October 8, 2016 with family by her side.

Pat had a great sense of humor, was easy going and loved talking with people, staying up until all hours of the night discussing life.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, devising many activities to entertain them. She loved all children and taught many to swim. Pat always kept busy with many hobbies including baking, sewing, crocheting, knitting, stitching, compiling an extensive genealogy history, and in the last few years painting. She loved playing games of all types, including cards (bridge, sheephead, cribbage), board games, and puzzles.

Pat married Henry Witzke July 4, 1953 while Henry was home on leave from the Navy. Throughout their marriage they lived in various places including Oshkosh WI, Hancock WI, Mundelein Illinois, Green Bay, WI, Neshkoro, WI, and Bradenton, FL.

After divorcing in 2008, she married Tom McClusky in Bradenton, where they lived until his death in 2013. She returned to Wisconsin and lived in Our House Senior Living in Lodi, WI to be near family.

Pat earned her GED after her fifth child and then went on to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting in December 1982. She worked various jobs over the years including waitress, Tupperware salesperson, making Barbie doll clothes to sell, co-owned and operated Tomorrow Wood Campground, and various accounting jobs including several banks and private businesses. She succeeded in everything she put her mind to, with the exception of conquering dementia. We were very saddened to see her robbed of her memories by this horrible disease.

Preceding her in death are her second husband, Tom McClusky, her parents, Charles and Clara Flanigan, her sister, Sharon (Jerry) Loker, and her brother, Randolph Flanigan.

Pat will be greatly missed by her loving children, Sandra Witzke, Barbara Stahoviak, Kathryn (Maria) Parker-Witzke, William (June) Witzke, and Roxanne (Michael Dvorak) Witzke, grandchildren Bobby, Charlie, Lacey, Lenny, Patricia, Mike, Karon, Kristin, and Chloe, three great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and several step-great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Locust St. Lodi, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016. Visitation will be held at the church from 12 Noon until the time of the service on Wednesday. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Omro, Wisconsin, at a later date.

Pat's family would like to give a sincere thank you to Jan Kleist and the staff of Our House Assisted Living for their loving care of mom over the past three years. We also thank Heartland Hospice for their loving service for the last month of her life.
