Nancy was born January 16, 1940 the oldest daughter of David and Phyllis (Gundlach) Cairy. She graduated from Platteville High School and attended a local university. She worked in her father’s insurance agency for many years. She was united in marriage to Richard Arnold Osterholz on October 8, 1965. Together they had three sons, David Richard, Daniel Jon, and William D. Osterholz. After working for her father’s insurance agency, Nancy began working as a church secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed watching many pro sports, but especially watching her sons and grandsons play ball was the best. Baseball was among her favorites as she acted as the youth baseball president. Most of all her children and grandchildren were the true joy in life as she loved them dearly. Nancy was the sweetest, kindest woman and had much compassion for others, always putting them first. She was always and will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Richard; two sons, David and Daniel (Stacey) Osterholz; three grandchildren, Nathan Richard, Erik William, and Laney Eileen Osterholz; three sisters, Karen (Ronald) Boldt, Kathy Cairy, and Carol Burris Cairy; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Phyllis Cairy and infant son, William
