Myrtle M. "Myrt" Bush, age 88, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.  She was born on November 11, 1925 in Isabella, Michigan, the daughter of William S. and Rose (Landis) Morrison.  

Myrt worked for many years in various restaurants, retiring from The Left Guard and Pedro's after 30 plus years as the general manager.  She loved spending time with her family, cooking, flower gardening, volunteering, bowling, the Badgers and Packers, Vince Gill and helping people.  Myrt was a long time member of Bethel Lutheran Church. 

She is survived by her four sons, Jim (Karen), Keith (Jan), Alan (Lori) and Todd; eight grandchildren: Kevin (Michelle), Kristi (friend Ray Theel), Bryon (Carla), Michael (Joanna), Derek, Alexander and Alana Bush and Michele (James) Knudtson; great-grandchildren: Corey, Danielle, Aaron, Zach, Taylor, Ryan, Gavin, Griffin and Carter; brother, Richard Morrison; sister, Dorothy Moberg and special friend, Frank Pohlkamp.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim, five brothers and four sisters. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 312 Wisconsin Ave., with Rev. Antonio Cabello officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Joyce-Ryan Funeral Home, 5701 Odana Road, and also from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the church.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Madison.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.  We love you mom.
