Mary Ryan, age 70, went home to be with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, Jan. 11, 2014.

She was born April 29, 1943 to Robert and Dalphine (George) Thill of Rose Creek, Minnesota in Austin, Minnesota. She graduated from Viterbo Collage in La Crosse, Wisconsin with a B.S. in Education in 1965. She taught school for 20 years in various locations, tutored and mentored student's , she taught Kids Connection Sundays and was an Awana leader for many years.

She asked Jesus to be her Savior July 31, 1971, and was married later that afternoon to Joseph N. Ryan of Westfield, Wisconsin. She loved the Lord and spent her life serving and helping others and loved every minute doing it.

She is survived by her husband Joseph (Joe), two sons, William (Bill) and Andrew (Andy), a grandson Caleb, one brother James (Jim) L. Thill (Jean) Ann of Leesburg, Virginia, one sister Jeanne Rilyea (Jim) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and one special Uncle Jack Thill of Rose Creek, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 aunts, and 3 uncles.
She was a charter member of West Madison Bible Church 2920 N. County Rd in Verona, Wisconsin.

There will be a Memorial service will be held on Wed. Jan. 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at West Madison Bible Church. Pastor Daniel Kukasky Jr. (Shirley) officiating. Friends may call at the church on Wed from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Anyone can have her promise of eternal life (heaven) as promised in John 3:16 just by asking. It says: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not parish, but have eternal life.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at UW Hospital, the staff at Agrace HospiceCare and at Group Health for the care provided to Mary Anne.
