She was instrumental in the coordination of the first Market Animal Sale at the Jefferson County fair. Marion also spent many years driving school bus and milking cows.
Later in life, Marion enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching and spending time at Lake Arrowhead during retirement. She bowled, played golf and loved to dance. Marion’s close association with her group of lady friends the “Puffin Muffins” was very special to her. In her spare time she expressed her artistic abilities through sewing and crafts. She sewed many beautiful things for her children, grandchildren and for craft fairs.
Marion will be remembered by her family for her love of Christmas. She loved this time of the year and no matter how little time she may have had she always baked many delicious cookies, pies, and breads.
