Lisa J. Gonzalez

JANESVILLE--- Lisa J. (Ruosch) Gonzalez, age 52, of Janesville, died peacefully Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg, joining her father in heaven after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Janesville on April 7, 1961, the daughter of Wayne and Ardis (Schaber) Ruosch and was a 1979 graduate of Craig High School. Lisa married David C. Gonzalez on June 10, 1989 at Peace Lutheran Church, Janesville.

She had been employed by General Motors for 27 years. A devout Christian, Lisa was a member of the Janesville Church of Christ. She loved traveling, especially the spring break trips to Florida with her family and the long weekends in Tennessee with her sisters. Lisa enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, and this woman knew how to shop! She was a devoted wife, mother and sister.

She is survived by her husband, David; 2 children, Kelsie (fiance' Paul Delgado) and Chloe all of Janesville; her mother, Ardis Corkhill of Janesville; 4 brothers: Jon (Tracey) Ruosch of Milton, Jim (Misty) Ruosch, Mike Ruosch and Steve (Robin) Ruosch all of Janesville; 5 sisters: Kim (David) Riyeff of Janesville, Kathy (Mark) Olsen of Cowan, TN, Laurie Ruosch, Brenda Ruosch, and Tammy Belcour all of Janesville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Ruosch.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY. Adam Hollinsaid will preside. Visitation will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.

Lasting Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., Fitchburg.

The family would like to thank Dr. Sam Lubner and his nurse Mary; the entire UW Oncology department; the ladies at Mercy East Pharmacy; and Dr. Kinsley and the entire Agrace HospiceCare staff.

Lisa may be gone, but her laugh, smile, and kind heart will never be forgotten.
