Judith Ann Tomasetti, 77, of Fort Atkinson, died Friday January 31, 2014 at Stoughton Hospital in Stoughton Wisconsin. Judy was a resident of Golden Living home in Fort Atkinson for approximately fourteen years before her hospitalization.
She was born to the Ernest William and Ruth Charlotte (Collins) Stirn, Nov. 24, 1936, in Milwaukee, WI. Judy graduated from high school in 1954. She married Carl Robert Tomasetti in 1955 and was a homemaker since the birth of their first child Robert (Bob) in 1957. Judy was especially proud of her children and grandchilden, she lived for her family and looked forward to their visits and when they would take her on outings, especially to eating establishments! Judy also loved her flowers which dotted her windowsill at Golden Living.
Judy is survived by her sister, Nancy (the late John) Kapusta, of Greenfield, WI and by eight children: Robert (Josie) Tomasetti, of Wheeling, IL; Deborah (Peter) Holt of Alexandria, MN; Dino (Peggy) Tomasetti, of Ormand Beach, FL; Kimberly (Roosevelt) Tomasetti, of Milwaukee, WI; Christina (William) Tregler, of Rhinelander,WI; Gregory (Marilyn) Tomasetti, of Milwaukee, WI; Michael Tomasetti of Rhinelander, WI; and Susan (Bill) Holbach, of Fort Atkinson, WI. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren: Robert Jr Tomasetti of Key West, FL; Anthony Tomasetti of Milwaukee, WI; Laura Holt of Boulder CO; Charlie Holt of Boulder, CO; Katie Holt of Ferndale, MI; Angelina (Jason) Torres of Milwaukee, WI; Dino Joseph Tomasetti of Milwaukee, WI; Marco Tomasetti of Milwaukee, WI; Shannon (Tomasetti) Brown of Milwaukee; Dominic (Tomasetti) Brown of Milwaukee; Adrianna Tomasetti of Alexandria, MN; Zachary Tomasetti of Alexandria, MN; Ryan Holbach of Fort Atkinson, WI; Tyler Holbach of Fort Atkinson, WI; seven great-grandchildren: Bella Hummert-Tomasetti of Port Washington, WI; Kenley Torres of Milwaukee, WI; Shannon Jr Brown, of Milwaukee, WI; Tavian Brown of Milwaukee, WI; Dominic Jr. Brown of Milwaukee, WI; Kimberly Brown of Milwaukee, WI; Jayden (Holbach) Roy of Fort Atkinson, WI; niece Karen (Julio) Guix, of Greenfield, WI; and nephew Daniel (Amy) Kapusta of Arlington, Ohio, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law Pauline Mary Tomasetti, and infant grandson Cody Allen Holbach.
Funeral services for Judy Tomasetti will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson on Friday, February 7th, 2014 at 12 noon with Fr. Brian Wilk officiating. Visitation will be before the funeral from 10-12 at the church. Following the funeral, Burial will proceed to Boscobel, WI where she will be laid to rest near her mother and immediate family.
