Joshua A. Langkamp, 32, of Dodgeville, formerly of Platteville, died on Thursday, June 20, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville. Rev. Steve Kottke will officiate. Burial will be at Lima Union Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday or from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Josh was born on June 24, 1980, in Platteville, the son of Paul and Pam (Gehrke) Langkamp. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1999. After high school he attended Southwest Technical College, Fennimore, where he studied business supervisor/ management. While in high school and Southwest Tech he was active in the FIRST-SIME Partnership, which was for students to pursue careers in science and engineering.
He was united in marriage to Candice Rowen on October 13, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church, Dodgeville. Josh worked for Coca-Cola, Dubuque, Iowa, and for the past few years for Frank Beer Distributors, Middleton, Wisconsin, where he was a merchandiser.
Josh enjoyed technology, learning, and repairing things. He is survived by his wife, Candice; parents, Pam and Paul Langkamp of Platteville; sister, Heather (Chris) Detrie and their son, Matthew of Platteville; grandparents, Hazel Langkamp of Platteville; Harriet (Burnell) Deiter of Cuba City, WI; father-in-law, Robert Rowen of Dodgeville; aunts and uncles, Debi and Kevin “Woody” Woodward, Brad and Abby Pryor-Gehrke, Linda and Eric VanNatta, Brian and Lori Gehrke, sisters-in-law, Kelli Rowen and Kasi Rowen and her daughter, Danika, and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Merlin Gehrke and Ervin Langkamp, and mother-in-law, Diane Rowen.
