Madison-Jeanette M. Kautzer, age 91, passed away on November 16, 2013.

She was born on September 17, 1922 to Joseph and Josephine Errard in Fond du Lac. She graduated from B.F. Goodrich high school, and went on to work as a secretary for Giddings & Louis, Manpower, Central Wisconsin Center, and WPS. She married Robert “Bob” Kautzer on October 14, 1944 and they raised two children, Richard and Roberta. Together they enjoyed to travel, especially to Florida in the winter. She enjoyed yoga, bowling, attending Church events, going camping, lunch with her friends from St. Peters, and volunteering at St. Mary’s Care Center.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Richard Kautzer of Madison, and Roberta (Gerry) Zaruba of Sun Prairie; two grandchildren Carrie (Todd) Weinberger of Marshall, and Laura (Jeff) Stieren of DeForest; great-grandchildren Brianna, Kayla and Sydney Weinberger, and Amber and Austin Stieren; step-great-grandchildren Janice and Justin Stieren; her twin sister Geneva Roberts of Fond du Lac, and sister-in-law Evelyn Kautzer of Boulder CO. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; brothers Leonard and Francis Errard.

Memorials may be made in Jeanette’s memory to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, and St. Peters Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at ST. PETERS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5001 N. Sherman Ave. at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Roger Nilles presiding. Visitation will be held at Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at ROSELAWN MEMORIAL PARK.
