MADISON- Jean K. Rowe, age 83, passed away at Avalon Assisted Living on August 21, 2016.
She was born in Madison on January 27, 1933, the daughter of Russell and Margaret (Kussmaul) Kuenzi. She graduated from Dodgeville High School in 1952. Jean met Glenn Rowe in Dodgeville, WI and the two were married on October 9, 1954 after his return from the Korean Conflict.
Jean started her career at GMAC as an office clerk before retiring in 2005 as the Photo Department Manager at the Walgreen's on East Washington Ave., after 25 years. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family and taking road trips to casinos with Glenn.
Jean is survived by her children, Glenn (Derek Aimonetto) Rowe, and Patti (Bill Zeman) Stone; her granddaughter, Amanda (Colby) Hoffmann; her great-grandchildren, Ace and Griffin; her twin sister, Joan (Norman) Lindeman; and her half-brothers, Russ (Lisa) Kuenzi and Jim (Karen) Kuenzi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn in 2015.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2016, at HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2670 Milwaukee St., with the Rev. Bernt Tweit presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday.
