Dedicated Wife, Loving Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother Janice Lorraine Wyss, age 88, of Madison, Wis., passed into God's hands Wednesday, November 23, 2016.

Janice Lorraine (Sprecher) Wyss was born January 27, 1928, in Sauk City, Wis. to Elvira (Sprecher) Marousek and Elmer Sprecher. She had one brother and one sister. After graduating high school, she worked for AT&T for over 40 years. She married Harold Wyss in 1949. They lived Madison and had two daughters. Janice was a member of the East Side Club association, the AT&T Pioneers association, and St. John's Lutheran Church. Her interests included family, traveling, reading and painting.

Those left to cherish Janice's memory include her siblings, Harlan (Ann) Sprecher and Elaine (Ernie) Johnson; daughters Debra (John) Moncrief of North Oaks, MN and Linda (Paul) Johnson of Poynette, WI; and friend, Ken. She has six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years.

A memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 322 East Washington Ave., Madison,on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 a.m. Memorials preferred.
