James Martin Hach, 79, of Blue River died Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home.
He was born in Dodgeville, WI, February 27, 1937, the son of Martin P. and Barbara M. Hach. Jim served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1959. After leaving the Army he married Maurice Yvonne Willis on September 26, 1959. They were married for twenty-three years until her death in 1982. He worked and retired for J.I. Case in Racine, WI. Jim also ran his own antenna business.
Jim was a member of Fifth Street Yacht Club, Salmon Unlimited, Sportsman Gun Club, and Park Side Mycological Club. Jim was an avid outdoorsman enjoying mushroom picking, hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed traveling, antique hunting, and attending auctions. Jim was a staunch family man and family member.
James is survived by his children: Rhonda Rae Masilian of Racine, Yvonne Maurice(James) Hach- Zarbock of Blue River, Curt James Hach of Racine; his grandchildren: Jason, James, Rylee, Movonna, Feona, Finnigan; great-grandchildren: Cole and Abbey. Jimmy’s siblings: Mary Jane Hach, Barbara Pagel, Donald (Linda) Hach, Anna Mollman, Sharon Knight, Martin (Deborah) Hach, Marcy (Mike) Read, Christopher Hach, Thersa (Mark) Wittenwyler, Raymond (Cindy) Hach, Carol Hammerly, Frank (Debbie) Hach.
James was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; infant child: Trudy Vallis; son-in-law Harry; and siblings: Lorretta Ebert, Helen Reeson and Daniel Hach.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Blue River United Methodist Church, with Memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM. Military rights will be provided by the Blue River American Legion Post 443. A luncheon will be served at the Blue River Community Center following the service.
