He went to Flight School in LaCrosse, WI, earning his Private Pilots license and an instructor's license. With his own Piper Cherokee, he and Leona flew to Pittsburgh, PA, to visit their daughter and her family. They sold their farms and moved to Scottsdale, AZ, in the 70's. He worked in a cabinet shop until he started his own cabinet business and also had a Real Estate license until retiring near family in Onalaska, WI. in the 90's. He loved traveling, fishing and celebrating family events. He visited most states including Hawaii and visited Europe to see a granddaughter. Harvey was very proud that all his grandchildren graduated from college.
