Glenn "Mike" Edward Falk

DeForest/Arlington-Glenn "Mike" E. Falk, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.

He was born on December 1, 1936 in Sauk City, WI, the son of William and Mathilda (Hohlstein) Falk. He was married to Mary Gundlach on November 10, 1957 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Islip, Long Island, NY. Mike spent most of his life working in construction. He was a longtime member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Arlington where he especially enjoyed all the beautiful and inspiring music.

Mike is survived by his wife, of 55 years, Mary; his two daughters, Maureen Garske of Poynette, and Molly (Greg) Frank of Arlington; also four grandchildren who were the light of his life. They are: Stephanie and Patrick Frank; Megan and Miranda Garske. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary (Ron) Custer of Baraboo, and Barbara Tomlinson of Georgia; one brother, Tom Falk of Poynette; two sister-in-laws, Ruth Falk and Shirley Falk; and a brother-in-law William W. Gundlach.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: William N. Falk, Charles Falk, Robert Falk, and James Falk; two sisters: Betty Floyd and Edna Furman. Mike had special friends who were breakfast servers at Cracker Barrel, IHOP and Pine Cone. He and Mary spent 42 summers at Holiday Shores Campground in the Dells so he treasured many friends there also.

A Memorial Service will be held at ST. PETER'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 303 Park St., Arlington. The date and time of service will be published at a later date.
