Geraldine “Dutchie” Johnson, age 86 of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Conway Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station on Thursday, April 17, 2014 from 3 to 5 p.m.

Dutchie was born April 21, 1927 in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin the daughter of Benjamin and Genieva (Nate) Schwab. She graduated from Mauston High School and married James Finnegan. James died at a young age and she moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she met and married Wallace Johnson and together operated Wally’s Tap. After his death she continued running the tavern and moved back to Lyndon Station about 20 years ago. In this area she stayed busy with her friends.

Dutchie was survived by a brother, Benjamin (Berniece) Schwab of Janesville, Wisconsin; a sister in law, Patricia Schwab of Lyndon Station; 2 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, James and Wallace; a son, Allen Finnegan; a daughter, Cheryl Citrowski; brothers, Bill and Homer Schwab and sisters, Peggy Anderson, Elaine Schwab and Shirley Nehls.
