MIDDLETON-Gail’s life on earth came to an end Monday, November 4, 2013, but in her words “The journey through life was one hell of a ride!” It seems from the time she was born, till her death, she picked the hard road.

Gail was born to Darwin & Rosetta (Hellenbrand) Blankenheim on Jan. 28th, 1956. She was the sixth child in a line of seven. After graduation, Gail went on to work with research rats. Then from there she switched careers to SWF (Springs Window Fashions), when she met and married her first husband Daniel. They moved to Colorado then Oklahoma where they worked on oil rigs. In 1982 they came back to Wisconsin where Gail went back to SWF, where she remained for 30 years. In June 1996 Daniel died. Gail met Brett Turner, the man who saved her from herself, in 1997. Their daughter Morgan Rose Turner was born on May 2nd, 2000. Brett and Gail were married on Oct. 4th, 2003. A new door had opened and they all walked through it together. Gail’s life was filled to the brim with motorcycles, the shop, dogs, friends and family.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Daniel, her Father-In-Law Bob Turner and numerous dogs, all who were an integral part in her life.

Gail’s only regrets were those she had to leave: her husband Brett Turner, daughter Morgan Turner (Mojigy), step-son Jamie (Janelle) Pearman and step-son Zach Pearman. Also, her brothers; Jim (Phyllis) Blankenheim, Dennis (DiAnn) Blankenheim and her four sisters; Donna Blankenheim (Wheeza), Carol (Les) Ferge, Jean Hodges and Diny Gilbertson; her Mother-In-Law Joan Turner and many Nieces and Nephews. She loved all of you so much! Last, but never least her bestest friends ever, Angus, Korbel and Sadie, who were always right by her side right up to the end.

A very special thanks to First Baptist Church of Madison for all their caring thoughts and prayers. Also to Agrace Hospice, especially Rebecca and Joshua, for the amazing care they provided. Lastly to all of our family and friends who provided so much help to the family during Gail’s final days.

Memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church of Madison 518 N. Franklin Madison, WI 53705 at 11:00 AM on Monday November 11, 2013. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
