Evelyn Thomas Markin Woolever
Evelyn Elnora Thomas Markin Woolever 9/15/41-6/11/2013 Beloved follower of Jesus Christ, proud parent, grandmother, great-grandmother left a great legacy through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all who live and serve the Lord.
She is survived by: husband Gary Woolever, Daughters Kim Genin (husband Tim), Carol Gescheidle (husband Michael), Louise DeWerd (husband Scott). Grandchildren, Jeremiah Genin (wife Suzie), Andrew Genin (wife Olivia), Christopher Genin, Rachel Heise (husband Jay), Madalyn Gescheidle, Holly DeWerd, Sarah DeWerd, and Zachary DeWerd. Great grandchildren, Micah Genin, Samantha Genin, Isaac Genin, Savannah Heise, and McKenzie Heise. Brothers, James Thomas, Robert Thomas and sister Kathleen Kruk. Evelyn leaves us to join her parents, William and Gladys (McIntosh) Thomas and her first husband, Elmon Markin.
Throughout her long and fulfilling life Evelyn stayed loyal to her convictions: God, family, freedom and having fun. If she wasn't winning awards for her handmade period correct 19th century western wear you could either find her at the shooting range, a dead ringer with her trusted 45, standing shoulder to shoulder with her soul mate Gary and the rest of the Tombstone Vigilantes or brushing up on her families genealogical past. Evelyn loved the "Western" way of life, never wavered in adversity, quitting was not an option, would stand down a grizzly to protect her family, never took any bull and embodied the meaning of "true grit". Although tough as nails, she was sweet as sugar. At the drop of a hat, which she probably made herself, she would drive cross country, stopping by an antique car or gun show on the way, to help family and friends in need.
We will all miss her so very much, our hearts are grieved yet we rejoice in the future that we have ahead of us for all eternity and anyone who has something she created will be blessed by her presence.
